Salt spray tester

The full name of the salt spray test machine is the salt water spray test machine, which is mainly used to test the corrosion resistance of samples. It is currently applied in industries such as aerospace, automotive electronics, electrical and electronic engineering, mobile digital products, plastic products, and metal materials to test their corrosion resistance, as well as to simulate extreme conditions under natural or working environments to understand the performance and temperature conditions of various samples.
The working principle of a salt spray test machine is relatively simple, mainly involving the spraying of corrosive gas-liquid onto the sample; the time elapsed until corrosion on the sample is used as its corrosion resistance, where a longer time indicates better corrosion resistance.

The corrosive solution in a general salt spray tester is mainly a 5% sodium chloride solution or a sodium chloride solution with 0.26 grams of chloride added per liter to serve as the salt spray corrosive solution. In addition, the salt spray tester can independently control the salt spray deposition rate and spray rate, ensuring a constant test, convenient operation, and a stable test environment. Therefore, it is often used to test the corrosion resistance of daily necessities or industrial products.
